HOW DO I JOIN?

The Kiwanis Club of Grantville-Allied Gardens is always on the lookout for a new member, a new leader, a new volunteer.  Members are the lifeblood of our organization, and so we welcome people from all walks of life.

Kiwanis is open to all persons regardless of belief, background, gender, or ideology.  There are no restrictions; any caring adult can be a Kiwanis member.

It all starts with a Kiwanis Meeting.

  Just come and find us on Thursdays, in the Fellowship Hall at Palisades Presbyterian Church (6301 Birchwood Street, San Diego 92120).  Those who wish to join us online via ZOOM are welcome to do so as well.

  You'll enjoy a delicious meal, along with a group of people who care about our neighborhood, and who want to make the world a better place, one child and one community at a time.  You'll instantly feel like you're part of the group -- because here, you're among friends.

  Each Kiwanis meeting features a guest speaker, somebody relevant to our community or perhaps a nonprofit group, along with project announcements and plenty of humor!  If you can't make it to a meeting, don't fret...  just try to get to the next one.  It's a volunteer organization, after all.  

  We also enjoy a number of social events (holiday parties, beach bonfires, sports, trivia, travel, and more).  It's truly a great group of friends that enjoys spending time together.  We want to meet you, too!

  If you feel like this is the right group for you, just fill out a Membership Application, and we'll find a way for you to get involved.  Maybe you have a project you'd like to introduce to the rest of us!  Maybe you're just looking for a new social group.

* Kiwanis is not a religious organization, and we welcome people of ALL beliefs and backgrounds.  The church is used only as a meeting space; G.A.G. Kiwanis is otherwise unaffiliated with Palisades Church.
